Richland Township Bed Bath and Beyond appears to be closing

A Bed Bath and Beyond in Cambria County looks to be closing its doors.

Signs have been posted in the Richland Township store's windows, advertising that there is a storewide clearance event.

The signs also say the store's lease is expiring at that specific location only.

In April, the New Jersey-based company said it would close 40 stores.

In an earnings call Wednesday, the national retailer said it will be shuttering an additional 20 stores by the end of the fiscal year, bringing the total to 60.

When 6 News contacted Richland Town Center's management group, MPG, for comment last week, a spokesman would not confirm the Bed Bath and Beyond store was closing.
