AUBURN, Wash. (KOMO) — A suspected victim is recovering from a gunshot wound after she reportedly defended herself during an attempted robbery.
Police in Washington responded to a shootout Tuesday morning in the parking lot outside of an Auburn Walmart.

TYRONE TOWNSHIP, Pa.-- A mixed martial arts fighter accused of assaulting a woman. State police said the man tried to run the woman off the road Sunday.
"He was apparently tailgating her and eventually passed her and forced her to stop her vehicle," said Trooper David McGarvey, State Police Hollidaysburg.
Police said Brett Shoenfelt was behind the wheel. They said he is a local amateur mixed martial arts fighter. Police said he knew the victim but it remains unclear why he allegedly attacked her. Read More...
